Getting Married in Hawaii: Facts About Obtaining Your Marriage License -Both the bride and groom must appear PERSONALLY before the marriage license agent. -A marriage license must be obtained FIRST before your ceremony is performed. -A marriage license is issued during the meeting with your marriage license agent. -The marriage license is good for 30 days from and including the date of its issuance, after which it becomes null and void. -The license must be used only in the State of Hawai'i. -The State fee for a marriage license is $50.00, payable in cash at the time of filing the application. This fee is subject to change. -To expedite your marriage license meeting, simply download the Marriage License from the website for the Department of Health located at http://www.hawaii.gov/doh/records, print it out on your printer and fill it out. **Very important reminders: print with black ink, no abbreviations, and use full legal names. You may then bring this with you at the time of your appointment. You may also obtain a Marriage License packet from the Department of Health. Call the Department of Health at (808) 586-4544 and request a "Marriage License Packet." When you receive the package, please carefully read and follow the directions on the back of the yellow Marriage License Application. Requirements For License To Marry In Hawaii -Residence/Citizenship: There are no residence or citizenship requirements. -Age: The legal age to marry is 18. However, with the written consent of both parents, legal guardian or family court, the male or female may be married at 16 or 17. Consent forms may be obtained from the marriage license agent. -Proof Of Age: A certified copy of a birth certificate must be presented for anyone 18 and under. For anyone 19 and over, proof of age may be requested in the form of an I.D. or driver's license. (Passport, alien card, or birth certificate may also be accepted.) -Blood Tests: NOT required -Past Marriages: A certified copy of a divorce decree or death certificate is NOT required when applying for a marriage license, but the FINAL DIVORCE DATE will be required at the time of application.

Special Instructions

Your wedding coordinator will make arrangements with a wedding agent, who will handle your paperwork. The price does not include the $65 paperwork fee, paid directly to the representative on the day of the wedding.

If you are traveling to several islands, the arrangements may be made on one island and the ceremony may take place on another.

Restrictions

The vendor has a special cancellation policy where in they will keep $200 of the initial $1000 if the wedding is cancelled for any reason.

The options for breathtaking locations are endless, from a sandy beach to a private villa to a magnificent verandah overlooking the harbor. Any spot would certainly bring a charmed beginning to a new life together.

Each of our wedding packages is a personal, romantic ceremony in a beautiful Virgin Islands setting.

Your wedding begins with a pick up from your hotel or cruise ship in our our easy entry wedding van and then a drive to the Courthouse to pick up your license. Then the moment you've been waiting for as you arrive at the site of your choosing where you and your loved one will exchange wedding vows.

Although you may choose from many locations for your wedding, this package includes the site fee for either one of the two sites shown here, picturesque Magen's Beach or the Garden Terrace. Please note that Magens Bay has a $4 per person entrance fee that is not included.

Included are licensing fees, minister, wedding coordinator on premise to ensure a worry-free ceremony, transportation to and from the site for the Bride & Groom and up to two guests, a certified copy of the marriage license sent to the couple and a keepsake marriage certificate as a memento of your special day. You may arrange, as you wish, a morning or afternoon wedding.

A professional Photographer will be on hand to provide beautiful memories of your special day. Digital Photography includes a professional photographer for up to one hour & a minimum of 36 or 72 images to choose from. No prints are included with any of our packages, however, your wedding will be posted online within 5-10 days for your personal viewing. You will be able to order photos online as well as invite your family and friends to view your images online! You may also purchase the CD of images for an additional cost, which would give you 100% negative ownership of your images. A Videographer will catch every important moment so you can share your wedding with family and friends.

A bouquet and boutonniere of tropical flowers, chilled champagne, 2 complimentary flutes and a traditional West Indian wedding cake complete the package.

And since you have the limousine for 3 hours, you will have time to enjoy the sights of the St. Thomas after your ceremony.

There is an surcharge of $150 for Sunday or Holiday weddings. This is paid directly to the coordinator after booking.

Restrictions

There is a $200 fee for any cancelled wedding. There is a 50% cancellation fee for weddings cancelled 30 days or less before the wedding date.

All weddings must be booked at least 3-4 weeks in advance to allow for the papers to be processed. This wedding is available on December 24, 25, 31 and January 1st at double the price.
